One cell per robot, not a loose LST on the desktop

A cell is one robot: working folder, last HSES host, and a SHA-256 snapshot trail from pull, save, USB and manual notes. Monitor bits and downloads belong to that cell only. Weld Cell 3 here is a DX100 at 172.16.82.199.

The mnemonic listing follows the tab and is the text that will be written to CIOPRG.LST. Check runs the family’s instruction rules. The system ladder stays readable, searchable and printable — and locked until you unlock it on purpose.

DAT where DAT can hold it. NAM for the rest

GP IN/OUT names live in IONAME.DAT (what the controller stores). Everything else is CIOBench’s Relay Label File — short name plus comment for the rest of the map. The editor will not let you type a DAT name the file cannot store.

From empty bench to a living cell

Four steps from a blank cell to files you can put on USB. The pictures on this page are Weld Cell 3 — a DX100 pulled over HSES.

  1. 01

    Name the robot, not the IP

    Display name, DX100 / DX200 / YRC family, optional host. The database keys history on the cell, not the address.

  2. 02

    Download CIOPRG + IONAME

    Tools → Robot File Manager... Connect, download into the cell’s working folder, and the application NAM comes along when the CIO header names it.

  3. 03

    Every pull is a snapshot

    History opens on the pull. Working is always the compare-from. Restore a rung, the names, or the whole CIO.

  4. 04

    Edit by dragging, check, save to USB

    Drop parts and names onto rungs, run Check, then File → Save to USB... writes the smallest set of files the controller will load.

UDP 10041. Download CIOPRG.LST and IONAME.DAT — or any selected file — into the cell’s working folder.

Live monitor

UDP 10040. ON contacts highlight; coils the contacts demand are written; Ctrl+click forces an input.

Check

Family instruction rules, blank operands, bad ranges. Errors block Save to USB...; double-click a row to jump.

Built for the controllers already on your floor

Compatible with DX100, DX200, YRC1000, YRC1000micro and YRC1100micro. The palette, Check and the instruction reference follow the family of the open cell. A DX200 cell that receives a /CIOPRG DX file becomes DX100 in the status line and the Cells list.
